About Nekkid Alternative and Rules

Thanks for taking an interest in Nekkid.Net. We formed this company around 1995 but it was put on the back burner while we completed other projects.
NekkidAlternative.com is a new branch of the company started in 2007. This is a new outlet for our "alernative" girls and boys to come to. We focus on different styles that make us all unique!

All of us have launched successful businness' since then and are now devoting our time back to getting Nekkid Alternative as successful. All of our other businness' focused around the Internet and we're able to take the knowledge we've learned in the industry to help ensure your success.

We often receive emails asking a lot of the same questions so we thought we would post an FAQ section to help curb some of them. It's not that we don't like answering emails. On the contrary, the more questions you ask tells us that you are not just jumping into this without some thought. The more informed you are with what we do helps everyone. So with that said, let's get onto the questions.

Q: What is the difference between Nekkid.net and NekkidAlternative.com?

A: Nekkid Alernative is the sister site and a branch off of Nekkid.net. While Nekkid.net offer more tradtional looking models and sites NekkidAlternative is a place for people that are "less tradtional". We welcome anyone and everyone from goth to emo, to metal, punk, rockabilly, spooky or just anyone that has an alernative style.

Q: Should I apply to Nekkid.net or NekkidAlernative.com?

A: Well take a look at yourself and see. Do you fit in more with the Nekkid.net models or the NekkidAlternative models? You don't need tattooes or piercings to apply, just the right attuide and a sense of style! And if you apply for one and we feel you would fit better in the others we will forward your application for you.

Q: Is there an age limit to model? What about race, gender or weight?

A: We encourage everyone from ANY backround to apply! There is no limit on how old you have to be (other then 18+) or what your background is. We accept girls and boys! We'd love to feature guys for their own multi model site right here on Nekkid Alternative, but please guys, we are look for Alternative looks for this site. And we MOST definetly want people of all shapes and sizes! There is just as much of a demand for plus size models as there is for average weight models. Please don't think you need to be a certain weight, height or size! We take them all!

Q: I'd like to model, but I don't want my own site?

A: Then you should apply for the multi model section here on NekkidAlternative.com. The updates are less demanding but you still get your own page and you still get your own pay.

Q: What is the difference between having a domain and being on the multi model section?

A: A domain is your own site, such as VivicaLove.com or FlozInWonderland.com. Basicly you are the "star" of the site. It has it's advantages and it's disadvantages. It's very demanding. We require weekly updates for it. Content must be kept up to date for a domain. The price for members to join is higher as well.

The multi model section is part of this site. You would get your own page and the url would look like this: http://nekkidalternative.com/yournamehere. It is also less demanding. We would only require updates every few weeks. But you still get control of your content, you decide what you want to be up there. You still get paid, the same 50%. We still tailor the page to your tastes and style. This is a good way to try out modeling without making too large of a comittment. Kind of like testing the water first.

We ask that all models try out the multi model section first. See how it goes. If you do well, can keep up the updates and draw members we can offer you your own domain.

Q: How much money can I really make?

A: That's really up to you. Each model is different. We help promote and market your site but getting the members in is all up to their choices and what you can provide them. We have written several articles that will help you and you can find them in downloadable pdf format on our site. We also have an article about making a 5 figure income if that gives you any ideas. But we can not say you will earn X amount each year, month, week. We can and will give you the tools and suggestions to help you every step of the way, but this is not a "get rich quick" scam.

Q: Is this legal?

A: Provided you follow our simple common sense rules it is 100% legal. If you would like a copy of our rules just let us know and we can email them out to you. You will be provided a copy (whether you request them or not) with your model release forms. By signing and returning the model release forms you also agree to the rules so we suggest you read them. They are there to make sure everyone has a good time and that no laws will be broken.

Q: Where is Nekkid.Net/NekkidAlternative.com located at?

A: Anywhere you are! You are this company! We have models all over the world.

Q: Why do you need copies of our IDs?

A: All of our models must provide a photo copy of their IDs to prove that they are who they claim to be and that they are over the age of 18. This is a legal issue and one that can not be bypassed. None of your personal information (real name, address, etc.) will ever be given out to anyone.

Q: How long does it take to get started?

A: By reading this far on our site, you have already gotten started. But to be set up completely and running usually takes around 30 days, sometimes more sometime less. Most of that is on our end building your custom website and server setups. We have a talented web site designer on staff but you are free to build your own site if you would like to. There are also legal issues with some of our vendors that we will take care of for you that take some time as well, but think of it this way, if it takes 30 days (most of that is awaiting the approval from our legal department, your site can be posted a lot sooner), that gives you time to take quite a few pictures and videos to post so that your site has content ready for your grand opening.

Q: Will my friends or family see the pictures?

A: If you send them to the site they will. They may also stumble across it while they are searching but if they do that means they approve on some level of this form of art. There is technically no way to block your friends or family out of your site unless they have a static IP address and with all of the websites out there today it is statistically improbable they will find yours. Nekkid.Net/NekkidAlternative.com never uses spam as a marketing tool so they will never get an invite from us to join your site in their email.

Q: Why do I need Nekkid.Net/NekkidAlternative's help?

A: The Nekkid.Net/NekkidAlternative staff have years of experience in web site design, marketing, video streaming, photography, server administration and security, credit card handling, sales, and computer savvy. We have launched several successful Internet business'. And we can offer our years of experience to help make your site a success. We handle all legal issues for you and provide all of this to you at no cost to you. There are several other companies out there that offer some of what we offer, but not all that we offer. You would not be an "employee" of Nekkid.Net/NekkidAlternative, you will be a part of our growing family. We also handle your technical questions and those of your members as well which frees you up to spend your time becoming the star you want to be.

Q: I'm not comfortable with some of the pictures I've seen on other sites, will I be asked to do some of that?

A: All of our models are encouraged to be as artistic as possible. There is nudity involved but the extent of the nudity is left totally up to you. We will never pressure you to do anything you feel uncomfortable doing. If you're uncomfortable or just not having fun with what you are doing then it will show in your images and your membership will suffer. But if you feel uncomfortable with being photographed totally nude in some of your pictures or you are just trying to build a site for other types of modeling then we might not be for you. But we do encourage, to those that are not comfortable with "hardcore" material, that you try a pin up style, more erotica then "porn". Everyone is different, everyone has different tastes and everyone has different levels of comfort. We accept thing from hardcore and sex sites to artful and pinup sites. Do what you think is best for you and what you are comfortable with, but remember this is an adult site and people are paying for the pleasure of seeing at least part of you naked (and we mean a little more then your arms and legs!) But spread legs and "pink" shots are not demanded. We build your site around you and what you want.

Q: How will I be paid?

A: You will receive a monthly payment from us for your % of your memberships and sales. We pay by either check or paypal, we HIGHLY encourage the use of paypal though, it faster and easier for all of us and ensures that you are paid quickly. And don't worry it won't show up as "Nekkid.net" on you statement, it will mostly show up as sims.net or something simaliar.

Q: Do I have to sign a contract?

A: You will have to sign our model release form and a small contract for our legal department that lets us know that you are older than 18 and that you are not being pressured into this by us or anyone else. It also states that you have read and understand our rules. There is no time clause in the contracts that stipulate you have to work with us for X amount of years. It is simply a legal item we must have before we can get the ball rolling. You are welcome to read it over and show it to anyone you like before signing and we encourage you to ask questions if you need to. By requesting a contract and model release form you are not required to sign up if you later decide that it is not for you. At any time you can take your site down for any reason.

Q: I already have a site, can I just post those pics to a new site under a different name?

A: Simply put, no. All content on your site hosted through Nekkid.Net/NekkidAlternative must be original. You are free to have as many sites as you like through us provided that there would be an audience for it, but all images must be original. They also must be of you. You can have guest models on your site if you like but everyone that appears in your site must have a model release form on file with us beforehand. Different companies handle the ownership of the content differently, so if you're working with someone else right now you might not even own the images.

Q: My husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/other friend wants to post a site to, can you help him as well?

A: Anyone is welcome to appear in images with you on your site (provided they are over 18 and we have their release form and id on file).

Q: I'd like to offer contests for my members so they can meet me, is there a problem with that?

A: We and our legal department have serious problems with that. It borders to close to prostitution which is something we are not in business of providing or promoting. There are also safety issues for you that you may not be aware of. Never base you opinion on someone just by their emails and chats. That perfect gentleman might turn out to be a not so nice guy in real life.

Q: Do you require a set amount of updates each month?

A: We do encourage you to update weekly. The more content you can offer your members the better chance you will have for them to stick around and tell their friends. In this day and age of broadband connections, it would not be a problem for your members to download all you have in a few hours and just cancel. If you give them a reason to stick around they will. Simply put, the more you do, the more money you have a chance of making. And since a basic photo shoot (of 45 or more usable images) should only take you about an hour out of your day, there really is no reason not to do it often.

Q: My sched. doesn't allow for me to make weekly updates, but I would still like to model.

A: Then you should apply for our multi model section (fill out the same app. just say you are applying for the multi model section) You still get to model for us, you still make money, but you are not required to do weekly update. We do ask for updates as often as you can send them.

Q: What if I have a problem with a member, how would I handle that?

A: Being polite and tactful should go a long way with most people but you may encounter someone that, that does not work on. In that case Nekkid.Net/NekkidAlternative will step in to talk with the person. There is no reason why you should feel harassed by anyone and we will help in anyway to make sure that your having a good time.

Q: What would be the monthly membership to my site?

A: Monthly membership fees are set by several things. Some factors include, how often you update, the quality of your photos the nature of your updates (hardcore, softcore) and several other things. So the more you update and the better quality your updates are will make your membership fees higher (which can be a good thing!)

Q: How much of that do you get?

A: We get 50% of your membership fees and a small percentage of your sales to cover our costs for building and hosting your site, handling your credit card transactions, tech support, bandwidth fees for our server (which are usually pretty high for these kinds of sites), security for your site, to cover the legal issues, and the various other charges we have to cover when you're running a business like this. That may sound like a high percentage but it is the same or less than others charge and when you think about it, all of the costs fall on us so after the expenses are paid there is usually very little left over for us. We're not in this to make money, we would rather think of ourselves as conduits for you to make the money you deserve and at the same time get a chance to grow as a company and family. And you get the other 50% all to yourself!

Q: Will my pictures ever show up on any other sites?

A: We do not sell your pictures to anyone else. We may use tasteful images of you in various marketing on other sites that we own (Nekkid.Net or NekkidAlternative.com main site for an example) but all of the images we use of you will always point the browser towards your site to help increase your memberships.

Q: I'd like to offer DVDs and videos to my members but I don't have the equipment, can you help me?

A: But of course, we have everything from the high end digital cameras to the DVD authoring software and equipment. We can mass produce the DVDs and drop ship them for you. The same holds true for video production. We have sets and props available to do a quality job while limiting the costs to you since you don?t have to go out and buy any equipment.

Q: What happens if I don't update my site or send in content?

A: You might lose members. You need to keep your site fresh and updated to keep people interested. If you go several weeks without any content or contact then we will have to hold your pay till you can contact us or send in new content. We understand everyone has a life outside of modeling so if you have something going on that you can't update (sick, work, family) just let us know and we can work with you, but if you go too long without contact then we will assume you aren't interested anymore and terminate your site.

Q: What happens when I want to get rid of my site or don't want to update anymore?

A: All content is archived, domain content will be put up on Nekkid Alternative and you won't be required to update and you will not get pay.

Content that is already up on Nekkid Alternative will stay there and you won't update or be paid anymore.

Rules and Regulations for working with Nekkid.Net/NekkidAlternative.com

When you work in a business like ours, there has to be some rules for you to follow just to keep things legal and to make sure everyone has a good safe time.
